Bullion Trading Platform Launch of Sister Company – Rakuten Securities Bullion Hong Kong Limited

Hong Kong, October 14, 2019 – The bullion trading platform of our sister company, Rakuten Securities Bullion Hong Kong Limited (“Rakuten Securities Bullion”), has started at 10am on October 14, 2019 through Rakuten MetaTrader 4 (MT4) account, following the website launch on September 30, 2019.

 

Rakuten Securities Bullion is a sister company of Rakuten Securities Hong Kong Limited (“Rakuten Securities Hong Kong”) and a wholly owned subsidiary and the third overseas subsidiary of Rakuten Securities, Inc. (“Rakuten Securities”), one of the leading online brokerage companies in Japan. The launch of its bullion trading platform presents both institutional and retail investors with a new vehicle for greater risk diversification by facilitating investment in gold and silver.

 

In terms of retail equities trading value in Japan, Rakuten Securities is the second largest online securities company in Japan1. It established Rakuten Securities Hong Kong in 2015, its first overseas subsidiary.
